Important Note About International Shipping

Customers outside of the United States may be required to pay import duties, taxes, VAT, customs fees, or other charges assessed by their local customs authority. These charges are the responsibility of the customer and are not included in the purchase price or shipping costs paid to Tap Cancer Out.

The amount due, if any, depends on your country's customs regulations, the value of your order, and the contents of your shipment. Unfortunately, we cannot estimate these charges before your order is placed.

If you refuse delivery because of unpaid customs charges or your package is returned to us by customs, any refund issued may be reduced by the shipping costs and any fees incurred by the return shipment.

Shipping FAQs

Q: How long will it take for my order to be delivered?

Please understand that we are a small but mighty nonprofit with lots of merchandise. We fulfill our orders by hand from our home warehouse as often as possible, but not every day. We typically ship on Fridays. Because of this, your order may take up to a week to be packed and fulfilled. Please wait at least that long before requesting an update on fulfillment.

International orders, due to distance and customs/import delays, generally are in transit for 10 to 15 days from the date of shipping.

Q: How much will it cost to ship to my country?

We charge a $10.00 flat shipping fee via USPS for orders within the United States. This is subject to change due to increased shipping pricing.

All other countries have variable shipping rates. There will be a single rate for packages under 3 lbs and a higher rate for packages over 3 lbs. Heavier orders that include a kimono or backpack may require us to charge $30 to $50 or more for international shipping, depending on the country.

We are a small shipper and do not get the preferred rates that an Amazon or even a standard apparel brand might.

You will have a chance to review your order and the shipping costs before you finalize your order and your credit card is charged.

We do not ship to all countries. Deliverability to many countries cannot be guaranteed, and in the past we have had to refund shipments that did not reach their intended destination, costing us significant lost revenue. We apologize for any inconvenience and hope to add more countries in the future.

Q: How can I track my package?

Once your order is shipped, you will receive an email with a tracking number.

All UPS packages can be tracked at www.ups.com.
All USPS packages can be tracked at www.usps.com.

Q: How can I contact you?

Simply use the chat function in the lower right of this page or email us at help@tapcancerout.org. Our staff will reply to you within 24 hours. If you have any issues emailing us, you can also message us on our Facebook page, but email is the most efficient method.

European Union Customers

If your order is delivered to a country within the European Union, you may have additional consumer rights under applicable EU law.

Unless an exception applies, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving your order without providing a reason. To exercise this right, please use the withdrawal request option available through your customer account, when available, or contact us at help@tapcancerout.org within the 14-day period.

Returned items must be sent back in accordance with our return instructions and should be unworn, unused, and in their original condition whenever possible.

Your statutory rights under applicable consumer protection laws are not affected by this policy.

Returns and Exchanges

If you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase, you may return eligible items within 14 days of receiving your order for a refund. Items must be unworn, unused, in the same condition in which they were received, and, whenever possible, returned in their original packaging with the order number included.

Once the item is received in good order, store credit or a refund will be issued for the value of the original item. Please note that no store credit or refund is issued for the original UPS/USPS shipping charges, and all exchange/return shipping postage charges are ultimately the customer's responsibility.

If an item is defective upon receipt, we will exchange it at no cost to the customer.

Q: How can I return an item?

Please contact us at help@tapcancerout.org before sending your return so we can provide return instructions and help ensure your refund is processed as quickly as possible.

EU Customers: If you are exercising your statutory right of withdrawal, you may submit your request through the withdrawal option available in your customer account or by contacting us at help@tapcancerout.org.

Q: I've contacted customer service and got the okay to return. Now where should I ship the item?

Q: How long will it take for my credit card to be refunded after an item is returned?

Once your return is received and we can inspect it, usually within 48 hours of receipt, your refund will be processed and a credit will be automatically applied to your credit card or original method of payment within 7 days.

Please note that, depending on your credit card company, it may take an additional 2 to 10 business days after your credit is applied for it to post to your account.

Q: Can I exchange an item for a different one or a different size?

Due to the quick turnaround of our collections, we cannot guarantee the availability of all sizes and styles at all times and are therefore unable to process exchange requests.

If you simply want a different size, please place a new order for the proper size and follow the return request procedure above for the item you'd like to send back.
